Hip Hop dubstep from the Scale Step crew comprising of West Coast 'step legend 6Blocc on the buttons with MCs Myka 9, Woes, Existereo, Kemst and Pow Shadowz on the mic. 6Blocc tailors his productions here for the slew of MCs on show including Myka 9, Woes, Existereo, Kemst and Jroz, switching his usually super boombastic and dynamic style to a more minimised sound giving the vocalsists space to rant. That's not to say however that these tracks wouldn't work in a club, as 'Burn Dem' ould surely bring the rafters down in the right spot with its rudeboy D'n'B vibes and 'Legalize' gets the floor blunted with soundsystem ready dub FX. Our favourite has to the junglist rinser 'To The People' but we must say we do appreciate the four instrumental version which could come in useful in the right situation. Heavy set for fans of LoDubs, Steps In Time recs and 6Blocc.

The American sound has obviously picked up on the steroid pumped and cartoonishly evil side of the dubstep spectrum which in this case is no bad thing, just merely a reflection of their needs which need to be catered to and should find a lot of fans this side of the water.
